Vandemark Memorial Turkey Trot

What is the Turkey Trot?
It is the CLS annual jog-a-thon.  The Turkey Trot is a fun and healthy way for our students to raise money for their school.  Every CLS student will walk or jog for 30 minutes as part of the jog-a-thon.

What does the fund-raising support?
The funds raised in the Vandemark Memorial Turkey Trot will be allocated to enhance the school budget, with our targeted fundraising goal of $18,000.  In addition, we are tithing our monies raised up to our fundraising goal and sending them to a chosen partner ministry.  This year’s partner ministry for the Turkey Trot is James Project of Latin America, who is rooted in Christ and Christian values, stands as a beacon of hope for vulnerable women, children, and families facing the scourge of abandonment, neglect, abuse, and human trafficking.    Any funds collected exceeding our intended fundraising target of $18,000 will be earmarked for the acquisition of a new laminator and other office supplies. These valuable tools will support classroom preparation and help preserve student work and instructional materials for years to come.
