Christ Lutheran School is thrilled to host our 20th annual gala! The Gala is a benefit dinner with both live and silent auctions that is a significant fundraiser for our school.
We look forward to an evening of fun and fellowship as we raise funds for the benefit of our students. Partner with us as we shape and equip our community’s future Christian leaders.
Partner With Us to Strengthen the Gala
This year, we are excited to introduce a new Gala Sponsor Program designed to strengthen our gala while honoring the heart of our school community and the mission of classical Christian education.
Sponsorship allows us to fund the event ahead of time, providing a strong foundation for the evening. This does not replace our beloved silent and live auctions—instead, it enhances them. With key costs covered in advance, the gala can focus more fully on joyful generosity, meaningful fellowship, and celebrating the good work God is doing at Christ Lutheran.
Our sponsors are not just donors; they are partners in mission. Through this collaboration, sponsors gain meaningful visibility and connection within a community that values faith, excellence, and tradition, while helping ensure the long-term strength of our school.

Vandemark Memorial Turkey Trot
What is the Turkey Trot?
It is the CLS annual jog-a-thon. The Turkey Trot is a fun and healthy way for our students to raise money for their school. Every CLS student will walk or jog for 30 minutes as part of the jog-a-thon.
What does the fund-raising support?
The Vandemark Memorial Turkey Trot is an important annual fundraiser that supports the ministry and educational mission of Christ Lutheran School. This year’s fundraising goal is $18,000, with funds helping to strengthen our school’s programs, resources, and daily operations.
In keeping with our commitment to Christian stewardship, we will tithe a portion of the funds raised to support our partner ministry, Metro Lutheran Ministry. Through its work, Metro Lutheran Ministry serves families and individuals with dignity and respect, helping break the cycle of poverty by promoting housing and personal stability, food security, and long-term self-sufficiency.
As a visible expression of this year’s fundraising efforts, proceeds will also help establish the CLS Classical Corner in our school commons. This welcoming space will feature comfortable seating along with a curated collection of classical literature, Christian parenting resources, and books that support classical Christian education.
The CLS Classical Corner will serve students, parents, prospective families, and visitors while encouraging thoughtful reading, meaningful conversation, and a lifelong love of learning rooted in Christ.
Any funds raised beyond the needs of the CLS Classical Corner will continue to support the ongoing ministry and educational mission of Christ Lutheran School.
